- Please pardon me if this is insulting, but if you haven't done much or
- any ftp'ing before, this might be what got you. Were you doing a binary or
- ascii transfer? When DL'ing binary files, you usually have to first type
- 'binary' at the ftp> prompt, otherwise you'll get an ascii transfer, and the
- file will be corrupted in transit.
